SHORT VERSION: Use UPS Ground and ship your packages to your work, if possible.

Here are some Hints to help you reduce your Shipping Costs. Take a look at the map below, These are the UPS guaranteed delivery times for UPS Ground from our Columbia, SC location to a commercial business (UPS claims 95% on residences.) As you can see, 1/3 of the country is within 2 days using UPS Ground as your shipping method. This is a significant savings.  2-day air will cost you significantly more and will not arrive any faster than the 2 days. If you are on the West Coast and do not want to wait five days then 2-day air may be worth the additional cost to you.  In addition UPS commercial is slightly cheaper than UPS residential. This refers to the address that the package is shipped. You can ship it to your place of work (commercial) for less than you can send it to your home (residential). If you do ship to your home, do understand that UPS does not like to leave packages at apartment complexes so it is always safer to ship the item to your place of work, however,, the choice is up to you.
